So I go to the store looking for a specific Cannon model camera. I've done research online for pricing and features, and even found that a friend has the model I am interested in buying. I tried it out and LOVED IT!!!
Anyway, I get to the store and ask if they have one in stock, and the guy behind the counter laughs and repeats back what I want. Yes you RUDE son of a bitch, that is what I want. He proceeds to tell me how inferior my choice of photography equipment is compared to X model and Y model etc. etc. and I am being very polite, and listening, and asking questions to see what is soooo good about X and Y models. I find that it is a lot of extra features that I do not need and do not have the patience to learn how to use. I am NOT a professional photographer, so why do I need to spend an extra $800 or $1000 on a camera?
I told him I was sticking my my original decision, that had all the features I needed as an amateur photographer who does this in my spare time. Mind you I've been there for almost an hour now. He then tells me that they don't keep it in stock, and he highly doubts he can order it for me, best to go online and order it. Also, now because I SAY I don't do this professionally and I just want something better than a POS you can pick up at a drugstore for $20 I'm not worth his time and he starts to ignore me. What the hell!!
